Breakwater School seeks an experienced, creative, and collaborative Art Teacher to join its dedicated faculty. This can be either a part-time or full-time teaching position (.75 School Program / .25 Enrichment Program) for the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

Position Overview:
Our Art Essentialist is a full-time visual arts educator offering classes for kindergarten through the eighth grade both during the school day and in our afternoon enrichment program. Our visual arts program is based in observational drawing and painting skills, and includes all forms of 2-D and 3-D representation.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Fine Arts, education, or related field
- Experience teaching in both elementary and middle school visual arts settings - 3-5 years preferred
- Ability to use flexible thinking and strategies with colleagues and collaborate with teaching teams
- Strong classroom management technique
- Ceramics experience preferred
