RSU 64 is seeking a dynamic Speech and Language Pathologist PreK-4. Candidate must hold a Maine Department of Education Certification (#293) or Maine Licensure as a Speech Pathologist, and a Criminal History Record Check.
The successful candidate will:
* provide speech/language services to identified elementary students including direct speech/language therapy;
* provide consultation and monitoring of hearing aids;
* be well versed in the use of social stories; and
* apply assistive technology including Picture Exchange Program (PECS).
The successful candidate will be a member of the collaborative instructional team and will provide speech-language therapy to identified students. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young children, be flexible, communicate effectively, and work well as part of a team. RSU 64 serves five towns (Bradford, Corinth, Hudson, Kenduskeag, and Stetson) with a student population of approximately 1100 students with an outstanding student centered staff. Central Community Elementary School serves approximately 500 students, PreK-5.
