Job Summary:  Per Diem, M-F, day shift (no nights, no weekends).  

Join a highly motivated and engaged multidisciplinary treatment team!  The Renaissance School has per diem positions available for BHP's/Ed Tech III in a small and clinically focused day treatment program for students in grades K-8 who cannot be safely managed in their local school districts.  SB-BHP's work directly with students throughout the program.  They also work closely with the program mental health clinicians and classroom teachers to implement treatment plans throughout the school day.  Be part of an effective program with a proven record of successfully transitioning students back to their local school districts.  Apply today!!

Job Requirements:

Education

* Minimum 90 college credits required.  Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Must obtain School Based Behavioral Health Professional (SB-BHP) and Educational Technician III certifications upon hire if you do not already possess.  Training Provided.  
  • Must pass Maine Department of Education criminal history records checks upon hire.
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred, or training provided upon hire.

Experience

  • 1-3 years previous experience working with children preferred.

Other skills required

  • Physical interventions are required at times to manage unsafe student behaviors.  Training provided.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required.
