Date Position Available: 2024-2025 School Year
Qualifications: Valid Certification in (350) Physical Science and/or (395) Life Science and current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education is required. Dual certification (Physical Science and Life Science) is preferred.
Position Description: MSAD #11 is currently seeking a team oriented, energetic, and creative educator at Gardiner Area High School to work as a science teacher. We are seeking an experiential outdoor educator who would focus on earth science and biology topics. Currently the classes involve a significant amount of time outdoors. Depending on the selected candidate, adjustments may be made to the schedule. Knowledge of and experience with standards-based grading and technology integration is preferred.
