Description:  Special education teachers needed for Scarborough’s Extended School Year programs for grades K-5 Functional Life Skills program and K-5 Social Life Skills program. These programs will start on 06/30/25 and will end on 08/07/25; up to 20 hours per week. Responsibilities include planning and delivering academic instruction for students in the areas of reading, writing, math, executive skills and functional life skills;  working with program Ed Techs and grading of IEP goals at the conclusion of the program.

Qualifications: Maine DOE Certification Endorsement 282, K-8 or 6-12: Teacher of Children with Disabilities

Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC).
