Job Title: Educational Technician III (Special Education Life Skills Program)

Overview:

Great Salt Bay is seeking a dedicated Educational Technician III to join our special education team. This position primarily focuses on supporting PreK students with special education needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic instruction and behavioral support for students on a 1-1 or small group basis, while working closely with special education teachers, related service providers, therapists, and other educational technicians.
• Monitor and document the academic, behavior and social growth of students
• Collaborate with special education teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive support and services.
• Supervise students in and out of classroom activities during the assigned working day.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Educational Technician III or eligibility 

• Experience working with children within a special education setting.

• Understanding of behavior management strategies and special education regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills.
