AOS 43 is seeking a Human Resource Manager to manage and administer the daily functions of Human Resources (HR). This full-time confidential position assists with internal and external human resources related requests and inquiries, administers employee benefits, and serves as the Title IX/Affirmative Action officer for the district. The position is responsible for employee onboarding and serves as the primary contact for new employees. The position communicates effectively with employees regarding benefits and human resources while ensuring compliance with labor laws, and internal specific policies and procedures. The Executive Assistant provides executive level administrative support for the ongoing operations of the Superintendent of Schools. The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years of work experience of an administrative nature, preferably in a public setting. Extensive experience handling multiple priorities, working with various constituents, and in a multi-task environment. Maine Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) approval is required.
