Are you a visionary educational leader with a passion for fostering academic excellence and community engagement? School Union 69 is seeking an exceptional Superintendent of Schools to lead three small, close-knit districts located in the heart of Maine's stunning mid-coast region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the district with a clear vision for high-quality education, focusing on student achievement, engagement, and growth.

- Collaborate with school boards, staff, families, and community stakeholders to set strategic goals and implement policies that reflect our shared values and priorities.

- Oversee the district’s financial and operational management, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support student success.

- Foster a positive and inclusive culture for both students and staff, promoting professional development and collaborative leadership.

- Champion innovation in curriculum and instruction, integrating new technologies and best practices to enhance student learning experiences.

Qualifications:

- Proven leadership experience in education, with a track record of success as a superintendent, principal, or district-level administrator.

- Strong understanding of Maine’s educational standards, regulations, and funding mechanisms.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building relationships across diverse groups.

- Experience in rural or small-town settings is a plus, with a deep appreciation for the unique strengths and challenges of our communities.
