School Nurse Substitutes

Regional School Unit 13 is looking to hire School Nurse Substitutes.  Maine Criminal History Records Check is required.

RSU #13 requires and the Department of Education Certification Office requires that you have your RN Degree for a minimum of three years in order to qualify as a School Nurse Substitute.

Preferences:

• Knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development;
• Knowledge of nursing care for children and adolescents;
• An understanding of school heath policies and procedures;
• Competency in emergency care;
• Familiarity with community health resources;
• Desire to work with children/adolescents;
• Recent practice as a registered nurse.
