GPCS seeks one qualified person to teach a full range of secondary science courses courses for the 2024-2025 School year which starts on August 28th.

GPCS is seeking a qualified teacher for secondary science. GPCS strives, through every subject, to promote curiosity, inspire scholarship, and encourage students to find their God-given purpose.

• Qualifications:
  • Candidates should have or actively be pursuing Maine State Certification in Physical Science and/or Life Science, as well as CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education.
  • Teaching experience is preferred but not required.

• Position Description:
  • GPCS is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team as a secondary level science teacher.
  • A successful candidate will have the ability to engage, challenge, and support students as they develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • This individual will have a solid Christian testimony and a thorough understanding of the Christian worldview enabling them to teach science from the biblical perspective.
