The Ellsworth School Department is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our special education team in providing occupational therapy services to students deemed eligible by their IEP Teams. This is a district wide position and travel between school buildings is a requirement with mileage reimbursement provided for between building travel.
The OT will provide evaluation, consultation, and direct services to eligible students.
- Maine Licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
- CHRC necessary
- Prior experience preferred
- Ability to administer occupational therapy assessments required
- Ability to develop and implement individual education plans necessary
- Ability to work well with coworkers necessary
- Experience working with students with developmental disabilities/Autism preferred
- Knowledge of Sensory Regulation Strategies necessary
This is a full time school year position with opportunity for some work in the summer and competitive salary and benefits.
