Description

The Ellsworth School Department is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our special education team in providing occupational therapy services to students deemed eligible by their IEP Teams. This is a district wide position and travel between school buildings is a requirement with mileage reimbursement provided for between building travel. 

The OT will provide evaluation, consultation, and direct services to eligible students.

  • Maine Licensure as an Occupational Therapist required 
  • CHRC necessary                                               
  • Prior experience preferred
  • Ability to administer occupational therapy assessments required 
  • Ability to develop and implement individual education plans necessary
  • Ability to work well with coworkers necessary
  • Experience working with students with developmental disabilities/Autism preferred
  • Knowledge of Sensory Regulation Strategies necessary

This is a full time school year position with opportunity for some work in the summer and competitive salary and benefits.
