Washington Academy is seeking a highly motivated candidate for our position of ESL Support Technician - Residential. This position begins at the start of 2025-2026 school year.
The ESL Support Technician at Washington Academy plays a crucial role in supporting English as a Second Language (ESL) students as they navigate their academic experience. Through a range of tasks that facilitate language development and academic success, this role ensures that ESL students receive the necessary guidance and resources to thrive in their coursework and school community.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about language acquisition, student support, and living in a dynamic school community. The individual would like to live and work in a private secondary school setting with boarding and day students. Job duties during school days follow this position description while support and supervision of students happens in the afternoon and evening. While there is a rotation schedule of who is on duty, the ESL Support Technician - Residential is living in community with students and fellow staff members in a dorm setting.
