Educational Technician III (Ed. Tech. 3) – PreK

Overview:
Great Salt Bay School seeks a dedicated Educational Technician III (Ed. Tech. 3) to join our Pre-Kindergarten team. This role is essential in providing specialized instructional support under the direction of a certified teacher, enhancing the educational experiences of our young learners.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery and management of the PreK curriculum and classroom activities.
• Work directly with PreK students, providing one-on-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs.
• Implement behavioral management plans and strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to assess student progress and adapt educational approaches accordingly.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom setup.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher, preferably in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Certification as an Educational Technician III (Ed. Tech. 3) or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Experience working with PreK or early childhood age groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with young children.
• Demonstrated ability to follow educational plans and instructions from teaching staff.
