St. James School, Biddeford, Maine is seeking a passionate, faith-filled, student-centered professional to teach Middle School. The Middle School Teacher plans, organizes, and implements the instructional program in a Catholic learning environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God. Observe and assess student progress, keep detailed records, observe student behavior and progress, and communicate with parents. The successful candidate will be an experienced, enthusiastic, organized, student-centered individual who can teach Science, Math, ELA, and Social Studies to students in grades 6, 7, and 8 in a Catholic School.
The ideal candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic who is passionate about primary education and building a faith-filled foundation for our youngest students.
Experience with children is preferred and the ability to communicate effectively and work with students, parents and school personnel.

Maine Certification (or eligibility) for Middle School

Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent
