The Richmond School Department is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled long term substitute teacher to fill a vacancy on our elementary special education team. The ideal candidate will enjoy and have experience working with students with varying disabilities and learning challenges. As a member of our team, the long term substitute will have opportunities to support our students in achieving their IEP goals through specially designed instruction. We welcome applicants with an intuitive understanding of what a child needs to be successful and with a desire to work collaboratively. All members of the Marcia Buker special education team have the knowledge, skills, and disposition to support one another when needed throughout each day. 

The ideal candidate for this position will at minimum hold a Bachelor’s degree.
