Union Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and visionary Teaching Principal to lead our school community. The successful candidate will apply Marshall’s Professional Practice Model to promote effective leadership and student achievement. This model emphasizes the importance of leadership through vision, management, and relationships, ensuring high standards for teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth
  • Implement best practices based on Marshall’s framework to drive school improvement
  • Manage daily operations, oversee curriculum implementation, and engage with staff and community

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in educational leadership (or equivalent)
  • Experience in educational leadership
  • A commitment to student-centered learning
  • Maine Department of Education certification (020 and 040 (preferred), 045 or 057)
