Good Will-Hinckley has an immediate opening at our Glenn Stratton Learning Center (GSLC) for an Ed Tech III and certified BHP or willing to become BHP certified.  At GSLC, we believe that all students want to be successful in their home, school, and community. Thus, our mission is to work collaboratively, using specialized educational services in guiding students with behavioral issues and backgrounds so they can experience success.

The right ED Tech III/BHP will have experience and interest in the following areas:

  • Working with students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
  • Helping students learn, grow, and succeed to return to their community school district.
  • Helping students reach their IEP goals.
  • Help youth develop and manage their behaviors with appropriate coping skills.
  • Be a positive source in the student’s daily life.
  • Build and teach safe boundaries and positive relationships with students.
  • Do the hard work to make positive changes for our students and your peers.

Sign on bonus $1,000.

The right BHP will have the following qualification:

  • Ed Tech III certification or able to apply for Ed Tech III certificate through the Maine Department of Education
  • Behavioral Health Professional certification or willing to become certified.
  • Reliable transportation
  • College coursework in human services field, preferred.
  • Experience working with children with significant social, emotional, and behavioral issues preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred.
  • Satisfactory reference and background checks.
  • Must have a valid Maine driver's license.
