MSAD #31 is seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker/Counselor for the 25-26 school year. The ideal candidate will provide skill based individual counseling &  peer based groups for social skills to K-12 students with IEPs and 504 plans.   This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adolescents within a collaborative educational setting. 
 
Responsibilities included
- Provide confidential support for staff as needed
- Establish relationships with parents & community
- Participate in school based activities in the community 
- Attending IEP & 504 meetings as needed
- Assessing student mental health/emotional needs and making referrals to other community services as needed
- Must be certified as a LSW, LMSW or LCPC in the state of Maine
