Band Teacher

The Adams School in Castine needs a K-12 Music certified teacher to be our one day per week Band Teacher that will be working with students in grades 4 to 8. This position will give the students a hands-on experience with a variety of instruments and their workings. Strong classroom management, and high energy are a plus. We are willing to work with interested, experienced musicians who would like to become certified in music.
Adams School is a Pre-K to 8 school of approximately 50 students located in Castine, a historic coastal town and home of Maine Maritime Academy.
This position requires Maine DOE Certificate 614, or obtainable, and current Maine Department of Education CHRC (fingerprinting).
