Occupational Therapist
RSU No. 67 is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our RSU No. 67 team. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to impact our students' lives significantly.
Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide expert therapy services to students in various settings, helping them improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapy interventions to improve students' motor skills, coordination, and independence
- Educate students and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment use
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Reports to the Special Education Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current State of Maine licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- State of Maine CHRC (Criminal History Record Check)
