GRADES 5-8 AT CARIBOU COMMUNITY SCHOOL

 

RSU #39 is seeking a highly motivated, proficient math teacher to work as a Math Interventionist at Caribou Community School.

 

The math interventionist position is designed to work collaboratively with grade-level teachers and provide high-quality instruction to targeted students or groups of students.  This position will focus specific attention to Tier II and Tier III instruction.  Additionally, they will be responsible for reporting, communicating, and monitoring the students' progress and performance.

 

Instruction - planning, preparing, and delivering instruction that meets the needs of students.

Assessment - determining students who need intervention and regularly assessing their progress.

Data - collect data that can direct intervention and monitor progress.

Collaboration - work with staff to develop intervention plans.

 

Qualifications

Maine State Teaching certification, experience as a classroom math teacher, and 5 years of teaching experience is preferred
