Description Description: Library Ed Tech III

Job Summary:
  • Assist in reinforcement in reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction, media and other skills.
  • Work with students individually and in small groups.
  • Partner with Dyer Library.
Qualifications:
  • Must love to read aloud with children.
  • Enjoy researching children's literature.
  • Knowledgeable of current children's "award winning" books and authors.
  • Adept at presenting various genres to children.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external community partners.
  • Knowledgeable of the Responsive Classroom approach to teaching.
  • Experience with thematic lesson plan development.
  • Planning and facilitating computer program experiences for students.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • MUST have state of Maine Ed Tech III certification and current fingerprinting/CHRC.


Additional Duties
Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: School year position, Monday - Friday/6.5 hours a day
