Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating a stimulating and supportive environment for toddlers, ensuring their developmental, social, and emotional needs are met. The Lead Toddler Teacher will collaborate with other educators to deliver an engaging curriculum, foster positive relationships with families, and contribute to the overall mission of our center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all children.
  • Observe and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's development and engaging them in the learning process.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience and maintain high standards of care and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Preschoolers in an early childhood education setting.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to inclusivity and cultural competency, with a demonstrated understanding of the needs of diverse and underrepresented populations.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
