Our team is friendly, funny, helpful, and loves to see new faces - even though we are masked!
Experience: Not necessarily required. Kids are magical and gifted beings, and folks with no prior experience should have a chance to discover that magic.
Attitude and Conduct: You need a sense of fun, a sense of humor, and a sense of respect for other people's feelings and experiences.
We DO NOT TOLERATE anything other than respectful, caring interactions - we are models for young children, and we expect people to conduct themselves accordingly.
Our program is built on respect and love for kids - negative attitudes and actions have no place here.
Daily Duties: While working closely with our little ones, your day will include tracking each child's goals and objectives, assisting child through self-care activities, and implementing/tracking behavior plans.
We follow a general schedule each day, but with little ones, every day can be different! You might be helping a child with fine motor tasks like zipping or buttoning, or you might be leading a kickball game in the gym!
You will be sharing in art activities and science projects (age appropriate) with other staff, so be ready with the artistic streak you already have!
Things to know:
1) We will need three professional references, copies of your immunizations, and an Educational Technician certification, which is based on your college credits. These are not negotiable, as they are required by the state, and we can help you apply.
2) We also require that you have your own vehicle and a valid license.
3) CPR/FA certifications are helpful but not required. We will train for CPR/FA and Behavioral Health Professional certificates.
4) Our program is open 8am-3pm, Monday through Friday. PT and FT positions available!
Send us your resume, and a cover letter if you'd like to introduce yourself! We can't wait to hear from you :)
