Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative Long Term Sub teacher to join our team in Saco, ME on a part-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve providing academic support to school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment. Students can range from 5-17 years old, with most of them being 11 or older.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 4 to 8 school-age patients at any one time.
Position entails a year round, 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm (or 7:30am-11:30am, depending on candidate preference).
