Job Description
Pond Cove is a vibrant elementary school serving over 550 students from Kindergarten through 4th grade, supported by a dedicated team of 100 staff members. Your focus will be on empowering teachers through innovative professional development, personalized coaching, and collaborative efforts, while also delivering targeted student interventions and ensuring alignment across grade levels.
The successful candidate will work closely with building principals, the ELA content leader, our K-4 literacy intervention teachers, and the district humanities strategist to design and deliver engaging, relevant, and evidence-based professional development and coaching sessions.
Additionally, this role involves supervising student recess and/or lunch periods, and collaborating with a diverse group of professionals—including school social workers, counselors, special educators, and extended learning coaches—to create an environment where educational excellence and student success are paramount.
