Qualifications:   Education Technician III (023) Certification and current CHRC authorization through State of Maine Department of Education.

Description:      MSAD #11 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an educational technician to support an individual student.  As a key member of our educational support staff, the candidate will: 

• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the successful inclusion and support of this student;
• Assist the student in navigating the physical and emotional aspects of their disorder during school hours;
• Implement strategies to minimize barriers to learning and facilitate active participation in classroom activities, as the student can tolerate;
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and service providers to implement a comprehensive support plan for the student; and  
• Be attentive to the emotional well-being of the student, offering encouragement and support as needed.
