Warsaw Middle School is looking for a dynamic, motivated and creative individual to fill an open science teaching position. Warsaw Middle School is a 5-8 school that is part of MSAD 53 which serves the towns of Burnham, Detroit and Pittsfield. Warsaw fosters the social, emotional and academic growth of all students by adhering to middle school philosophy, promoting integrated units of study, utlizing a 2 year looping model, and has a strong advisory program. Warsaw is located in Pittsfield - the heart of Maine. This is a thriving and diverse community that boasts premier medical and manufacturing facilities as well as unique and quaint small businesses. Pittsfield is also home to Maine Central Instituteas well as a variety of social and cultural organizations. Interested candidates should hold a Maine 020 K-6 and/or 340 Science certification.
