Thornton Academy is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as Assistant Football Coach. This position involves assisting the head coach in the overall direction and management of an education-based athletic team that competes in the Maine Principals' Association fall sports season (mid-August through late-October). The successful candidate will be one who has an ability to teach the fundamentals of the sport while also focusing upon character development, sportsmanship, and teaching life lessons to participants. The coach should be a strong communicator who also supports and represents the Four Pillars of Thornton Academy (Respect, Responsibility, Investment, Compassion).
