Assistant Director of Admissions supports and coordinates with the Director of Admissions in all aspects of admission, enrollment and retention of students. This is a year-round full time position that reports to the Director of Admissions.

The Assistant Director of Admissions will have a passion for pursuing new ways of marketing and enjoy meeting the diverse students and families who explore the Cheverus educational opportunity. The attributes of a successful candidate include: a deep understanding of the mission and identity of a Catholic/Jesuit high school; strong spreadsheet skills; is familiar with tracking data, preparing documents/reports and the ability to serve as an ambassador for the school who exhibits energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Serve as an important contact for prospective students and families, arrange meetings, schedule appointments, and assist with timely and courteous communication in response to inquiries.
  • Assist with all aspects of application processing, including updating admissions files and databases, and evaluation of completed applications.
  • Coordinate timely collection of application information to prepare files for review by Admissions Committees.
  • Create content that promotes the educational experience at Cheverus -- to be utilized in many marketing channels, such as emails, website, print and digital advertising, and social media platforms. 
  • Support in the planning and execution of events and special projects. Some evenings and weekend events are required.
  • Provide Admissions presentations to campus visitors and at on-campus and off-campus events.
  • Facilitate all details of the enrollment process for our Italian and other exchange students programs, including updating student information and status for student visas through SEVIS.
