Maine Department of Education Certification 075.
Ability to prioritize ASCA standards in the support and guidance of high school students.
Understanding of post-secondary education and career pathways and ability to support students in the identification and pursuit of post-secondary opportunities.
Understanding of barriers to on-time graduation and ability to articulate a strategy for supporting on-time graduation for all students.
Excellent communication (oral, written) and interpersonal skills.
Commitment/ability to work as a department colleague composed of multiple counselors, a registrar and a support staff member.
