Summer Dorm Parent

Washington Academy is seeking energetic and active candidates for our position for a Summer Dorm Parent.  This position starts on July 2, 2025.

This residential position involves supervising and monitoring residential students during our summer program.  Responsibilities include maintaining dormitory safety and order, assisting students in adjusting to independent living, and fostering a fun and engaging environment.

Expectations for the Summer Dorm Parent include:

• Regular Hours - 3PM to 11PM for assigned duties
• Sleep in assigned dorm and be available for coverage of emergency situations
• Help to organize and attend dorm activities (hiking, dance/karaoke night, movie night, etc...)
• Help with pick up and drop off of student groups (may be required to drive a white bus)
• Availability during the weekends including one weekend duty and one weekend trip

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Background Check and Fingerprinting
