Special Education Anticipated Openings: Life Skills Elementary and Middle School Programs Functional Life Skills Teachers - Mount View Elementary School & Mount View Middle School RSU 3 is seeking dynamic special education teachers for our K-5 and 6-8 Functional Life Skills Programs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in inclusive programming, positive behavior plans, and working with students with autism spectrum disorders
- Flexibility necessary to program for students with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Ability to collect and utilize academic and behavioral data to drive instruction and daily living skills curriculum
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with educational technicians
- Current Safety Care Authorization (or can de trained by the district)
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Current Maine Grade K-8 Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification (282E)
