North Yarmouth Academy seeks a dynamic early childhood educator for a position as lead teacher in one of our Montessori-based Primary classrooms (children ages 3 to 5). The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood or elementary education, Montessori certification or training, warmth and generosity of spirit, the ability to work collaboratively, a responsible and trustworthy nature. We are looking for a teacher with demonstrated experience working with young children, ideally in a Montessori environment. The candidate should fully support the mission of the Academy and embrace the opportunity to work in a vibrant Pre-K through postgraduate school community.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible, school year position beginning fall 2024. Summer and vacation positions may also be available if desired.
Start Date: As soon as possible for the 2024-2025 school year.
