Job Posting: Ed Tech III (One-on-One Support for High School Student)

Position: Educational Technician III
Location: Sanford High School
Contract Duration: One-Year

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Technician III (Ed Tech III) to provide one-on-one support to a student at Sanford High School. This position is a one-year contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance and student needs.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a specific high school student to provide individualized academic and behavioral support.
• Implement and monitor educational plans, accommodations, and modifications as directed by the student’s IEP or 504 plan.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals to ensure the student’s success.
• Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide feedback on the student's progress and participate in team meetings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the ethical standards of the profession.

Qualifications:

• Must hold or be eligible for Maine certification as an Educational Technician III.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
