Bonny Eagle Adult Education is seeking an ESOL instructor for our spring semester starting in January. The hours are variable based on enrollment, 2-5 hours a week providing individual and small class instruction for our Multilingual Learners.The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience teaching ESOL, preferably to adults. Master’s degree preferred. Ability to teach all ESOL levels from beginning to advanced. Shows understanding of the language acquisition process and adult learning principles. Exhibits cultural sensitivity in working with students from different backgrounds and identities. Current Maine ESOL certification preferred.
