Qualifications include:
Intermediate elementary experience preferred.
Maine certification required 020 (K-8 endorsement).
Experience teaching reading and writing workshops and teaching for conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts.
Experience with developmental literacy and math assessments and using data to inform instruction.
Strong understanding of Maine State Standards a must.
Strong commitment to supporting the social and emotional development of students.
Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
Capacity to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
