The Gorham School Department has an opening for Director of Adult Education beginning July 1, 2024.  This position will be a 4/5 position with the month of July off each year.  MDOE certification #66 required. The successful candidate should have experience teaching adult learners and possess the following:

• successful administrative experience
• ability to efficiently and effectively balance time in Gorham and Westbrook
• ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
• ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• ability to procure and manage grant funding
• ability to understand and appreciate the diversity of our students and the barriers they may face
