Functional Life Skills Teacher - Jefferson Village School, AOS 93

JVS has an immediate opening for a dynamic special education teacher at Jefferson Village  School in our K- 8 functional life skills program. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in inclusive programming, positive behavior plans, executive functioning skills, and working with students with multiple levels of need.
• Flexibility is necessary to program for students with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Ability to collect and utilize academic and behavioral data to drive instruction and daily living skills curriculum
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with educational technicians
• Current Safety Care Authorization (or can be trained by the district)
• Current Maine Gr. K-8 Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification (282)
• Maine Criminal History Records Check required

Salary based on Collective Bargaining Agreement
