Qualifications: Maine 282 B-5 certification required, or willingness and ability to obtain a provisional certification. ABA experience is a plus and experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders is preferred.
Description: Full-time teaching position to work with preschool children in an integrated developmental preschool. School year position with ESY session. The position will be posted until filled.
Monthly MRTQ bonus of $240.00, $360.00 or $540.00 depending on education and experience. This bonus will continue as long as it is offered by the State of Maine. Additional monthly bonus from SMCA that is TBD of at least $300.00 per month for a full time employee.
Sign on Bonus of $3000.00. $1000 to be paid at 3 months of employment, $1000.00 to be paid at 6 months of employment and balance to be paid at 1 year of employment.
Lead Teacher responsibilities include planning and implementing daily programming for students based on their individualized goals, data collection and analysis, and maintenance of an appropriate learning environment and daily schedule that addresses Maine’s Early Learning and Development Standards. Lead teachers are also responsible for supervision of Ed Techs and collaboration with our Team Leader, OT`s PT`s and Speech-Language Pathologists to meet the unique needs of our students. Experience working with children with Autism and ABA experience a plus! Full time hours are 8:00 to 3:30.
