ACADIA Academy Charter School is seeking a part-time music teacher to teach our PreK-6 students. The hours are 10 am to 3 pm daily with 3 classes Monday through Thursday and 2 classes on Friday with planning time built in daily.
Teachers must be committed to the vision of ACADIA providing a comprehensive blend of instruction to children that involves Direct Instruction and experiential learning opportunities. In return, the Board of Directors promises our teachers small classroom sizes, ongoing support and professional development opportunities, resources and opportunities for collaboration, and the celebration of student success!
The successful candidate must have a background check clearance on file with the Dept of Maine or complete the fingerprinting process. Priority will be given to candidates with current teaching degrees in the content area or those with a background in Music.
Candidates must submit an updated letter of intent, a resume, and three letters of professional reference.
