Description

The Augusta School Department is seeking a Payroll and Human Resources Specialist to support the district's payroll and HR functions. Responsibilities include processing payroll, maintaining personnel records, orienting new employees, and managing accident reporting and claims. Qualified candidates will have a high school education, prior payroll or accounting experience (experience with Munis Enterprise Pro preferred), strong administrative and computer skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and experience working as part of a team. This is a full-time, 52-week position with a salary range of $20.05 - $29.82 per hour, 13 paid holidays, and 2 weeks of vacation. The selected candidate will report to the ASD Business Manager and be evaluated annually by central office administrators.
