Bonny Eagle Adult Education is seeking an ESL instructor for our fall semester startingin September. The hours are variable based on enrollment, 2-5 hours a week providingindividual and small class instruction for our Multilingual Learners.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience teaching ESOL, preferablyto adults. Master’s degree preferred. Ability to teach all ESOL levels from beginning toadvanced. Shows understanding of the language acquisition process and adult learningprinciples. Exhibits cultural sensitivity in working with students from differentbackgrounds and identities. Current Maine ESOL certification preferred. Must have validand current CHRC (fingerprinting) upon employment.
