The Westbrook School Department is seeking a full time Educational Technician I, II, or  III for Canal School. The Elementary position will require supporting students with a range of needs in grades K-4 within the special education and general education settings. The position requires the ability to work with students at varying levels academically, socially, and emotionally.  The qualified candidate will be given: competitive salaries and benefits, three college courses paid each year (University of Maine system rate), continued professional development, and opportunities for summer employment. Westbrook School District Special Services Department provides student-centered instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students districtwide, in grades kindergarten through high school. Our innovative and dedicated staff employ evidence based literacy and mathematics programs to promote student success. We offer programming and a variety of related services across a continuum of settings. These programs foster a learning community that supports student’s academic, social-emotional, functional, and pre-vocational needs.
