About Our School
Sanford High School is located in York County in southern Maine 45 minutes south of Portland, less than 2 hours north of Boston, and only 15 minutes from the ocean and the lakes region. We are very proud of our state-of-the-art, 360,000 square foot facility that intertwines High School and Vocational programming and includes a Performing Arts Center and athletic complex. Job DescriptionSanford High School is seeking a Math teacher who thrives working in a collaborative professional environment to teach math to high school students. We are looking for a teacher with excellent communication skills, the ability to facilitate group work, and experience using technology to enhance instruction. The candidate should be comfortable teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry at varied levels. The opportunity to teach Calculus could also exist for a candidate with the knowledge base and experience. Interested candidates should be comfortable using various instructional platforms such as ALEKS and Reveal to aid in daily instruction. Essential Functions
