Opening for 2025-26 School Year
Position Overview:
Waldo County Technical Center is seeking a creative and out of the box thinker for our Explore CTE program. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in four of our technical program areas offered at WCTC and possess the skills necessary to inspire 9th grade students to pursue CTE programs during their high school careers.
** This is a part-time teaching position. WCTC has also posted a part-time instructor for the Computer Careers program that could be combined with this position to create a “full-time” position. Please see the Computer Careers Teacher position post for details.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required, college degree preferred but not required.
- Maine DOE Fingerprinting required (can be done at time of hire).
- Maine State Teaching Certification or eligibility for certification in one of the CTE program areas.
- Teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred but not required.
- Creativity and general knowledge of various trades/tech programs would be beneficial for this position.
