LISBON SCHOOL DEPARTMENT
SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
The Lisbon School Department is currently seeking a candidate to work in four school buildings (Elementary, Middle School, High School and Day Treatment) as a part of a comprehensive special education team. The candidate will be responsible for providing a range of psychological diagnosis, evaluation/assessment, intervention and prevention within the context of schools. In addition, the candidate will need to be prepared to intervene at the individual and system level; and, develop, implement and evaluation preventative measures. In this role, ecologically and valid assessments will be used to intervene and promote positive learning environments within which children and young adults can have equal access to effective and educational and psychological services that promote healthy development.
Experience Needed: Conducting evaluations and developing positive behavior plans.
Requirements: National School Psychologist Certificate or Board of Examiners of Psychologists of Maine and CHRC.
