Long-term Substitute teacher - Kindergarten

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our Kindergarten team at Congin School. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners while maintaining the continuity of instruction during the regular teacher's absence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging, supportive learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement daily lesson plans and activities based on the Kindergarten curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support the academic, social, emotional, and developmental needs of Kindergarten students.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school administration as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Manage student behavior in alignment with school policies and procedures.
• Engage students in age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play and structured tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
• Support students during independent and group work, reinforcing skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
