Falmouth High School has a Tutoring Center Ed Tech III position available. The primary responsibility of the Ed Tech III in the Tutoring Center is to coordinate and help students access RTI Tier II and III supports at the High School. The Ed Tech III works directly with individual or small groups of students to support academics. With guidance from the RTI teachers, the Ed Tech III helps students in a variety of content areas and with organizational/study skills as needed. This may involve developing and delivering intervention strategies, monitoring student progress, keeping records, communicating with educational professionals, working with our Learning Strategist, attending our Student Centered Team meetings, engaging in professional development when appropriate, and performing other duties as assigned by building administration. In addition, the Ed Tech III may provide classroom coverage when the RTI teacher needs to attend a meeting.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates must be eligible for or have a State of Maine Educational Technician III certification, approved State of Maine CRC (Criminal Records Check) and background check (will be run by the school department).

Pay commensurate with education and experience. Current contract on website (Admin Asst/Educational Technician bargaining agreement), new contract in negotiations for Fall 2024.
