- Milo Elementary School Principal -

MSAD 41 is seeking an Elementary School Principal for grades PK-2. The Principal is responsible for providing instructional leadership, managing day-to-day operations, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring the success and well-being of all students and staff. MSAD #41 is located in beautiful Piscataquis County and has a student population of approximately 600 students over three schools: Milo Elementary School (PK-2), Brownville Elementary School (3-4), and Penquis Valley Middle High School (5-12). This is a full-time position beginning July 1, 2025. 

Successful candidates will demonstrate evidence of the following:

• Guide curriculum development, support teacher growth, and promote innovative instructional strategies.
• Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and facility management.
• Monitor and assess student progress, implement data-driven instructional improvements, and ensure equitable opportunities for all learners.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment that encourages student engagement and staff collaboration.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teachers and staff, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders to support student success.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal education policies and regulations.

Qualifications: Maine Department of Education Certification as Principal or equivalent/State of Maine Administrator Certification 040.
